Default Countdown app - 05-04-2009, 12:14 PM

i would love to have a countdown type app that you could input a date and a time and it would countdown to that date/time. if it could do more than one countdown at a time it would be even better. there have been so many times i wanted to know exactly how long til something happens.
Maybe if im not asking to much, the ability to change the format for it like instead of showing 48 hours and 16 minutes show 2 days 0 hours and 16 minutes.

5.0 will have a count down timer and stopwatch built into the clock app...look forward to that.

hrmm, yeah that will be nice...when we get devices that will support 5.0

5.0 is only gonna be on devices that currently run 4.6 or higher.

so in the mean time, how bout some support for us legacy devices?

Actually, 4.6 offers that now, at least on my 8900. It doesn't offer 'days' like the op wants, but a stopwatch and timer are included in the clock app.

I am not sure where you heard this. 5.0 is rumored to be for the 83xx, 81xx and possibly the 88xx devices.

It's already been leaked for the 8310.

I can confirm that! The 5.0 build that was leaked for the 8310 is not something you really want anyway...its functionality is inferior to the 5.0 builds you've seen recently leaked for the Bold and 8900
