If you have the file on your PC, you can connect your device to your PC with Mass Storage Mode enabled and move the file to your media card.

Once on the card, disconnect the device from the PC. Go into your Media icon and press the menu key. Select explore and browse to the file and select it. It should download.

Then your only option would be to do the OTA install.

As a side note, sometimes OTA Downloader cannot be used, for example when recieving a link which is not a direct url to the .jad file. Hard to explain as I don't know the exact technical jargon but the original url "redirects" a BB browser to the .jad file but OTA downloader doesn't like it. Using a desktop browser to get redirected to the .jad file works except at that point I am unable to ascertain the "real" url to use in OTA Loader.

Not sure if that makes sense or not, perhaps someone has some tips if I did make sense.

Wirelessly posted

You need to have the jad but also the cod(s) that are indicate in the jad and move all the files to the sd card in the same directory then it will work!
