Default Facebook Help - 05-06-2009, 09:33 PM

Hi,

Can someone please help me

I previously had a Pearl with Facebook 1.2... When I would get a wall post, comment, etc, I would get notified through the FB app only. There would be an email sent to my gmail acct, but that email did not go to my BlackBerry.

I currently have a Curve 8900 with Facebook 1.5... Now I'm getting notified through the FB app and the gmail email is going to my blackberry. When I erase the email from my phone, it erases the notification from the app.

Can anyone help me to get my Curve settings like they were on my Pearl? I don't know if this matters, but I have T-mobile.

Thank you in advance,

Vanessa

In FB app 1.5 go to menu-options and uncheck the Leave mssages on server.
this will then delete the email on the server so when the FB app intercepts the email, it will show in FB and not re-send the email about the notification as well.

Yes, they told me to open the FB app and in options, uncheck "Blackberry Message Application".

Please don't think that I will add you to my BBM. I won't. Especially if I get sleazy PM's.
