Default This program won't start? - 05-09-2009, 02:16 AM

Supposedly the program works on a 8800 which is what I have, and it comes with two .cod files and one .alx file. I am having trouble getting the program to run because once I install it, it says that it cannot find the second .cod file yet all the files are in the same directory when I install it. Can someone help me out? Also I got the file from this site...

3jam Reply-All Text Messaging (BlackBerry) - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

Also if I try installing it on the BlackBerry Virtual emulator, it works fine on that haha.

As a guess, I suspect that the software might be written for a specific OS, and you may have a different OS installed on your BB.

djm is likely correct...check the version of you OS (Options> About). Then verify form the wbsite where you downloaded the app that it is compatable with your OS version.

And congrats on your 100th post here!

1st Step in Troubleshooting: Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?

Try to download and install OTA at 3jam and see if that helps.

The reason I don't want that one is because its a 7 Day trail and the link I found is similar in the UI but its free and I don't want to pay for the program.

I think I may need to pay but I've been searching and 3jam seems better than BBtext2IM and SwooshIM or something but most people say that 3jam doesn't really send registration codes and such because they hardly reply from their technical service place.

I don't have a BB data plan but I'm able to surf the net and do almost anything and everything.
