I'm calling it while this thing is still in beta, because it is that good.

Awesome features...

1) While scrolling, your cursor "snaps" to links and images and other objects on the page. This eliminates one of the biggest problems for web browsing on a berry, especially if you are like me and use a really sensative setting for your roller.

2) When you click on a field on a page to enter text, like a username password field, or the area you use to type a forum post, it kicks you to a standard blank page text editor and blows up the text to ease the strain on your eyes.

3) Annoying advertisements on web pages are not diproportionately sized because this is a full browser, not a 'skinny' trim version of the web... Its simply the web.

4) Thin/tall font to allow more to fit on a page by default.

5) You don't need a mobile version of youtube to enjoy browsing the site, you can see all of the videos and comment sections. I haven't tried this, but I am going to. I think you can even upload vids straight from your phone to the site.

Probably tons more little awesome features I haven't discovered yet, and for a beta browser this is already better than opera... Hands down.

I still like Opera

I still got both installed.

I am still preferring Opera Mini because It lets me download files directly to my BlackBerry, plus the book mark sync in Opera Mini is a great plus.

Bolt still hangs up at 20% whenever I go into a web page, and then it's a minute or so but after it's opened, it maneuvers faster than the Opera. I can also get into some web pages in opera that I can't in Opera and vice versa. So I feel I need to keep both till they get all the bugs out. I'm so GLAD we have these as options to BB Browser.

Bolt is very close to being really awesome... For now, Opera remains my primary browser (I'm using it to post this).

Bolt has three shortcomings. One, hitting 'back' reloads the page which takes time. Opera caches it and hitting back takes you instantly back.

Two, when I leave Bolt running in the background and come back to it after not using it for a half hour or so, it will tell me it's not connected and that I need to reconnect. When it does this, it loses my 'session' (history, etc).

Three, Bolt loses my cookies almost every time I start a new session, which is VERY annoying because I have to log in to everything again.

I still keep it installed for some sites though.

Opera is my browser of choice. Using it right this moment. I wish Firefox had a mobile version. ;)

I'm still using both Opera and Bolt; For me it seems like Bolt renders faster, although I agree with you on point #1. The main reason I still use Opera for certain sites is that when you hit 'back' it takes you there instantly.

That said, regarding your points #2 and #3, I have no problems with Bolt keeping my session history, and it keeps my cookies just fine (no multiple log-ins required.)

fwiw, just wanted to point out some differences I have personally noticed. If Bolt fixes the back button 'issue' to be like Opera, I'll probably use Bolt exclusively over Opera.

I'd also like to see some type of account management similar to Opera Sync.. Beats having to go threw google the first time.

I'm surprised we haven't any rumors about the next Bolt beta, they really are a quiet group.

Skyfire isn't available for BlackBerry yet is it?

I think Bolt has a real potential to be a top browser. I personally still prefer Opera because of its speed, and going back on a page is almost instantaneous.

Skyfire is only in Alpha, to a selected few.. and I've heard it pretty tough of memory..

We'll probably hear more about it in time.

I have Opera and Bolt. They both work well on my Berry.

What do you mean tough of memory?

Not too sure really.. that's just what I have heard, from those who are in the alpha.

Yes I heard skyfire has a way to go in alpha version. I am not big on Bolt. I still use Opera and the native item. Any upgrades on Opera in the mix?

You will be impressed with what the skyfire browser can do, of course once it is released.

I really haven't heard much in the way of Opera Lately they have been very quiet.

The flash support in SkyFire sounds awesome enough.

I'm honestly getting pretty close to uninstall Bolt.. I just don't find my self using it much I just naturally open Opera Mini.
