Default Beta Testing, Anyone? - 05-13-2009, 03:50 AM

Hi, everyone.

Anybody interested to test a beta version of a new software product that aids parents and employers to create a safer mobile phone experience?

Ideal candidates will be located in the United States, use Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox and have an internal GPS that is accessible to third party software. (Verizon Wireless Blackberries are not compatible with this beta version, but we are working on a future release that will be.)

Help please, my luvlies?

Agreed, I sound like an ideal candidate, but so do most people. What is the business purpose for your app? What will it help with?

Based on your description, this sounds like it could be some type of spying software. I would advise anyone to be extremely cautious in beta testing software from an unknown source and with so little information given.

Hi guys -- Lexi is helping me recruit additional beta testers for a project that I am working on. The software is safety related and is not spy software. About two months ago, we performed our initial closed group beta test with blackberry forum users. Based on this, we have enhanced the software and completed debugging (hopefully).

The reason for allusiveness is that we are trying the best we can to keep detailed product information from the forum as the concept is fairly unique.

A couple things to point out: The software probably will not be very popular with the blackberry forum users as it places some restrictions on certain phone. However the reason for recruiting users from this group is that you are the most critical of the blackberry's performance and functionality.

If you would like further information, send a private message to Lexi and she will set you up with a coupon code for testing. I think that after you have the details, you'll agree that the project is important and worthwile.

All the best
