Dioes anyone have a fix for this, I have 2 Blackberry's, a 8300 urve and the 8900 Bold, both have the same problems when trying to download software from App World.

When you select the app, it then asks you to download it, then on selecting download it comes up with:

Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World server. Veify your network connections and try again.

I have internet access, and it has never been connected to a BES server.

PLEASE help...

What version of App World are you running? Newer versions were said to fix that issue?

I would remove the App World and Re-install it.

Also try a battery pull.

Moved to Aftermarket Software

Tried everything, even tried re-installing OS and updating again to latest version, then downloading App World again and re-trying, still failing, local shop useless. thinking of ditching phone for an iPhone, at least the apple store seems to work and the softwares cheaper.
