Sometime ago in a thread here
Using brightkite on your Blackberry.
I discussed a service called Brightkite and the need for an application for the Blackberry.

Well one has been written and is being actively developed. You can visit the authors website here:-

Blackberry apps by Hallgren Network

Also check out the brightkite site at brightkite.com

Hi, no it's not twitter, though you can post to twitter from it, also facebook, flickr and more.

It's best to read my top link to learn some more about it.

Also I wrote a getting started with brightkite guide which is on my blog.

I don't have any commercial interest in Brightkite or the app, just a pleased user of the service.
