Default Old Verichat Thread

Hey,
I have a new BB 7290 and I'm using the Verichat trial. The verichat service continually logs in and out. Does anyone know why this is happening or experiencing the same problem?

Well, that day I couldn't connect to MSN, today I can't connect to AIM. Have you ever been able to connect?

I am beginning to think there is an issue with VeriChat, especially in areas where the signal is lost (relatively) frequently. If I leave it running, I begin to encounter errors within VC (can't connect to one service or another) and in other apps, e.g. BBToday gets Maximum Connections Exceeded errors in the Weather plugin. A friend gets that error in Reqwireless after having VC running for awhile.

Somehow, it seems the apps (or the OS) isn't killing off old connection attempts.

I am getting a lot of this same problem with Verichat too. I am working with PDAApps and beta-testing a few releases that hopefully will resist erratic cellphone signal better. (at least as stable as WebMessenger, anyway)
