Default Viigo question - 07-02-2009, 01:53 PM

I Enjoy using Viigo but lately I have noticed that most of my selected channels are only updating approx 15-20 new articles at a time. I checked my options and it is set to receive up to 50 new articles per channel. I tried to remove and then re-add a channel and that did not seem to work. Anyone else experienced this?

Is it all channels or certain channels?

seems to be only certain channels, but they are popular ones - not exactly obscure.

Wirelessly posted (8820)

I think I noticed this when I started using the newest version the other day. Haven't watched too closely, but seems to be some feeds and not all. And I think it improved with successive updates.

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

What happens when you try to update individually?

May want to send in a bug report.. I've a few in on random issues, they are pretty responsive.

For the first time I feel the future might hold something different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.

Could it be that is all the feeds that have been submitted since the last time you checked?

I have a number of feeds in mine and some will only update 3 or 4 postings while others will do 20.

I have never noticed missed anything when I go back and read the actual websites?

I'm having the same issue. It only seems to retain 20 articles (default setting) even though I changed the article limits to 100 articles per feed and total number of feeds to 1000.

Very strange.

One feed in particular only updates with 15 new articles even though my settings are at 50 per feed.
