Thumbs up Key logger - 07-07-2009, 11:32 PM

I can't tell you how many times have I compiled a 6 paragraph post for a forums and I have press the wrong button to loose it all. I need a key logger that will just log keystrokes. I don't need pictures, web pages visited or emails with the contents... Just plain keystrokes. I obviously rather get a freeware but if it works good I would not mind paying some for it.
Thanks.

You don't need a keylogger. Type your text on a memo then copy and paste it into your forum post.

Also there are no keyloggers for BlackBerry, or were you talking about a keylogger for your computer? On the computer, type your text into notepad and copy/paste.

I don't need to type in the memo pad to be able to copy the text to the clipboard/memory. That can be done from pretty much any form. I have to disagree that key loggers for blackberry don't exist. A simple google will reveal them. Problem I have for those is that they charge over 300 a year for them. They seem more geared at spying (logging sms, acquiring location, listening to conversations, etc). All I want is a key logger that works locally and just capture the keys pressed for that one time out of 20 that I press the escape key instead of the blackberry key. Copy the text is a long inconvenient step to do for the other 19 times and simply not an option.
Anyone else?

Those programs you've seen are not keyloggers. There is only one such spy program that works on BlackBerry, although others may claim to do so, and it does not work on all BlackBerrys either -- not on CDMA devices. Flexi-Spy does not log keystrokes in the sense you are talking about.

Moving to Aftermarket Software.

In addition to the fact there are no keyloggers for BlackBerry, even if there were, we would not post them here. Keyloggers are used to spy on someone without their knowledge and are illegal when used for that purpose. You may not be asking for a keylogger to spy on someone, but someone else might be and we would not make that information available.
