Default Nike+ app - 07-08-2009, 07:45 PM

Is there any app that is like the Nike+ stuff i don't want to have to buy an I- anything. i enjoy having wireless earphones. not sure why Nike even made it an apple exclusive! why not just make it a blue-tooth thing?

I have a 2nd question, can you have 2 blue tooth devices hooked up at same time? like speakers and a headset?

1. I do not think there a Nike+ app for blackberry
2. I am not sure. Some users report saying that their blackberry can connect to two devices at the same time but others say it can't be done. Try it yourself and see.

its unlikely it will connect to 2 audio devices, but I know i can connect a headset and my pc at the same time.

You can also keep an eye on RunKeeper | GPS Fitness Tracking Using 3G iPhone for Running, Cycling, Hiking, Walking According to their press releases they will likely be developing an app for the BB platform in the future.

Check out SportyPal | Free tracking mobile application for all GPS enabled phones also. Same kind of thing as above. I have downloaded it, but have not tried it out yet.

I can answer that one. Nike didn't make it an iPod/iPhone exclusive, Apple did. The device and the software for iPod are made by Apple.

I have been doing workouts with Sportypal.
It works fine on mine Bold 9000.
Picked up GPS is a reasonable time and gave good results.
The GPS accuracy improves with moving outside on clear sky.
Uploaded quite quickly from the phone and didn't take too much battery power.
Here is example from my running:

Here's an example of Runkeeper. It's still not available for the BB, but should be soon: My RunKeeper 14.88 km Walking Activity
