Default Opera mini issue

Please Login to Remove!

I've downloaded Opera for my 8900 but I'm having some issues with it.

1. When viewing web pages on it they are all squashed into one large column. I can't scroll across at all, just up and down. Is it meant to be like this?

2. Whenever using opera it's constantly asking permission to connect to the Opera server. I've tried fooling around with the application permissions and allowing everything but none of it makes any difference.

I can't help but feel i must be doing something wrong. Any help will be much appreciated.

1. Sounds like you have Mobile View turned on. Go into Settings and uncheck that box. You can also press "1" while on a Web page and change the view.

2. If you can, enable the firewall. On my device it's under Settings, Security Settings.
