Default BlackOutPro Equivalent for Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know of a Blackberry equivalent to BlackOutPro? (black out pro dot com - not mature enough on the forums to post a link...)

I'm looking for a similar program that will disable the BB screen when a vehicle is in motion. My searches have been fruitless...

Thanks in advance for the help!

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

I wish I could help but am NOT familiar with what you referred to in your post.

Isn't this pointing out the obvious issue at hand?
Anyone who decides to use a cellphone (texting), laptop, PDA and be otherwise distracted whilst in the drivers seat of a moving vehicle is entirely responsible for their actions and the resulting consequences of the distraction?

Simply put the device in the boot or backseat of the car - waaay out of reach of the driver.

Default it's not that simple...

We're rolling out blackberries to a mobile field tech service. They receive their work orders on the phone, which will be tempting to view while driving. The lawyers have asked that we find a way to disable the screen when the vehicle is moving. BlackOutPro does this for laptops (using a GPS sensor), but we haven't been able to find a BB equivalent.

Thanks for the help.
