Default Help with twitter please - 08-19-2009, 04:28 PM

Hi guys.

I use facebook on my blackberry and would like to use a similar app for twitter. Is anything available as the standard twitter page is useless as you cannot reply or receive notifications.

Is there anything that will make my twittering easier.

Thanks.

Thanks for that. Does anyone have any recommendation amongst them?

Also, I've found twitters own text service. Are there any costs involve in this service for sending or receiving? I have a reasonably large text bundle to use, but will any texts come out of my bundle and do I pay anything for receiving texts?

Thanks in advance.

Twitter doesn't charge anything for this, but standard text messaging rates or bundles may apply from your carrier.

If you click the link within the link of this article I posted, you will find the links to many of the twitter apps and get your information rather quickly. By the way, I use Social Scope.

I use ubertwitter and it seems to get the job done. Nothing fancy though.

There's several. Should probably read the posts in this thread. Specifically, post #2.

Moved to Aftermarket Software.

See this thread for discussion of several Twitter apps.

Take a look through this section because there are other threads about Twitter apps. Using the forum search is a good way to find info also.

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

There also new ones coming. The conversation is very fluid. I do know Vigo is in the process of adding Facebook. You may also learn that you prefer to use Facebook as a stand alone app.

TwitXtreme is another new app. Tweecaster just updated. The opportunities are expanded. I still show deference to SocialScope
