Exclamation New App: Berryscroll (bellshare) - 08-25-2009, 12:50 AM

Introducing: BerryScroll!

(This app works on the Storm only.)

(To configure BerryFlick: Go to Options > BerryScroll)

BerryScroll will add flick scrolling to your BlackBerry browser, contacts phone log and music/ringtones in the media app. To use flick scrolling you will have to enable it by selecting "Enable BerryScroll" from the BlackBerry menu in the browser (has to be done after every reboot).

When you do a flick up/down gesture BerryScroll will switch into flick scrolling mode indicated by a little icon in the top right corner. After a configurable timeout, by pressing any key or by clicking/tapping the screen you can exit flick mode so you can select or click links again.

Scrolling on OS 5.0 will be smoother as the browser is rendering and displaying pages much faster.

Coupon for $1 off: flickscroll1

Purchase: BerryScroll - Flick Scrolling for the Storm - Personal Productivity Blackberry Software

Looks pretty nice. But when will the upgrade be ready so that it will work for Pictures and Messages? I will buy it at that point.

I can't see buying this specific app without demoing it first. Unfortunately either the devs or mobihand won't allow it, so no-go for me. Please post back if there is a trial though.
It's not that I want something for free, I don't. I just want to make sure this app works as advertised AND plays well with the other apps I already have.
IMHO, it seems a bit counter-intuitive to not not allow a trial, as I would surely buy it if it worked well.
