I'm sorry, I know this will get moved but I can't not find the app section. Anyway has anyone tried this app called PrimeTime2Go? I just found it and have read 4 very mixed reviews. Anyone else have any feed back?

Question 09-06-2009, 11:06 PM

I founf it on blackberry App World. Its a free app. I saw a few ppl complaining that they paid for it but it was letting me download it for free and last time I looked I could still download it for free. I didn't do it though because I'm kind of scared of it. Lol. Get on bb app world and look up the app PrimeTime2Go spelled just like that.

Let us know how you like it. Is the app really free, or is it a free trial?

Wait no. Sorry I read the very bottom it says this: Download the service at no charge and browse the line-up of great shows; then subscribe for only $7.99/
month. So its NOT free to watch TV but free to download the service.

Ohhhhh.... I see what the deal is. It's free download, but there is a monthly subscription fee to use it.

PrimeTime2Go
Second paragraph says Download PrimeTime2Go free and if you like it you can subscribe to the service for $7.99 per month. Not exactly free. I thought it sounded too good to be true.

Some of the apps on AppWorld say free when in reality they are not free to use.

Yes that's is right. I'm scared of it just because if I know nothing about how to get technical with my blackberry and if it changes any settings or permissions I don't know how to change them back.

Yea it did sound to good to be true. I reread the fine print at the bottom myself. I just was wanting to know if maybe anyone has tried it and if so what they think of it. Maybe we one day can get it for 100% free but doesn't look like it right now. I was wondering if it was worth buying. It sounds like a cool idea.

It's easy enought to just delete the app if you don't like it. Permissions can be changed by going to Options > Security Options> Application Permissions > highlight the app, click Menu key and you can change permissions there.

Yea I figured but if you read the reviews there is one person saying they had a 8900 from tmobile like I do and something went wrong and they ended up having to do an exchange with their bb. I can't do that with mine if that happened to me bc of the way I bought it. So I was seeing if anyone else maybe tried it with better luck.

I see what you mean with the reviews. Sounds like the app is not ready for prime time as someone said. I would would wait and see if they release a better version.
