The Best Free Apps (If Any?)
I've been an avid iPhone user for a while and recently made the switch to Bold. I'm looking for free applications from the AT&T Mall, but it seems to me that most of them are not free. $4 per month is typical, but I'm used to the free apps from the Apple App Store. I suppose that there are other free Blackberry apps elsewhere, since I recently downloaded the splendid Bolt Browser from Bitmap.

Share with us your free apps and tell us where we can get them.

It's basically the BlackBerry equivalent to the iTunes App Store.

Also look in this forum section. There are other apps in neither category

This is my favorites list.
  • Viigo is definitely nice!
  • LiveTracker is my GPS app.
  • WeatherEye is great too!
  • DataBackup is still beta and that's why free.
  • FreeBooks (downloaded from BB App World)

There are loads of free apps. I am sure you can find one that works for you too :)

Another user put together a really nice long list of free apps. A forum search will find it.
