For Police purposes, we need the ability to receive SMS/Text messages on a Blackberry connected to a computer via USB or via BES and forward/convert them to E-Mail or useable format to get into SQL in [real-time] or near real-time.

Any ideas????

Why not just tail the SMS logs from BES and import them into SQL?
I'm sure a SQL developer or DBA could script something like this in a relatively short period of time.
