There is an upgrade to version 2.0 for the Standard version. Standard came free with our phones. If you register at their website you will be directed to the download, FREE.

I don't see how to do this - when I do it tells me to upgrade for $69.99

You may be looking at the Premium version, the one where you can create new documents and get the PDF To Go reader.

I bought Docs To Go Premium 1.0 a while ago. I received an email offering a Docs To Go 2.0 upgrade for $29.99. I may upgrade. I like the desktop sync feature.

It is this kind of thing that has me going back to my Touch Pro 2...I bought Documents to Go a while back when they had a sale. I paid $30 or $40 then for my Bold to have it. I am not convinced that I should pay $30 again to upgrade. I am more likely to just leave it as is...though I am finding more and more that I have to ask people to save documents in the older Word formats if I am to be able to use them on my BB. Not so on the Touch Pro 2.

The upgrade should be priced at $10-15 and the program should be no more than $40 at the maximum for Premium edition. I would never have purchased it for $69.99 and really cannot see myself adding $30 to what I already paid to have something that should have been included on the phone in the first place.

I just got an email from DataViz for Docs To Go v.2 for $50 (instead of the usual $70). Personally, I'm not upgrading just yet. My current version works perfectly well, and the price of an upgrade just isn't justified.

If you have a notebook, I'd suggest adding an air card if you don't already have one. $60 Is steep, especially when you consider the screen real esate.

Just my 2 cents...

Only you can decide if it's worth it for you not.

Depends how much you really use your BlackBerry and how many documents you have.

For the first time I feel the future might hold something different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.
