I have just released a new eBay client for Blackberry phones , it includes outbid alerts and allows you to view items you are bidding on /watching / selling as well as place bids on the move , the app is certified by ebay .

Update this app is now available on blackberry apps store (search for ebay) for the discount price of $2.50 untill the end of the month , if someone could post a link here as I have not reached my 10 posts it would be greatly appreciated.

It would seem a few people are purchasing the app and trying to use there ebay logon , due to certification requirements by ebay we are required to log you into ebays web site and then fetch a key , I tried to do this on the blackberry browser but it's not compatible with the ebay site hence why user have to sign up at our homepage first , complete the ebay auth and auth and then use that user details not the ebay details to log on , more complicated than I would have liked it but the ebay auth key only has to be refreshed once a year so won't cause a lot of inconvience (other than slight confusion). All instructions are on site .

RIM is working on a really nice eBay app that should be available by the end of this month. It will feature the following:

view descriptions and gallery photos
bid
see your watched items list
push notification when you are outbid on an item
add auction end times to your calendar
receive reminders
