i was wondering if there was an app out that would send reminders to your phone when ever a game was about to begin such as a basketball or football game? I have seen this for the iphone and thought it was pretty cool... its almost like it creates an alarm reminder for what ever team u choose...

most teams now adays have a vcal you can download and put into your desktop Outlook or Notes client.

Yahoo alerts is supposed to do this, and in fact, used to do it quite well. But for some reason, Yahoo alerts has been acting quite wonky of late. If the alerts come at all, they are delayed - sometimes as much as a couple of hours.
