Default eOffice Problem

Please Login to Remove!

I am a registered user of eOffice, but I've been having a problem with it. I cannot open any of my Word documents with it. Only the ones that came with the software. I don't know if it's a memory issue or what. I can open Excel files just fine. It's just Word files that won't open. Anyone else having this problem?

That's actually the whole reason I'm posting this question here. I've e-mailed Dynoplex no less than 4 times and gotten no response.

that's odd because they got back to me right away when I had problems. Sorry I can't offer more help than that. I'm still trying to get my VCR from flashing 12:00

Blah, I paid for the product in my case. I emailed for tech. They responded quickly but it was no help. The only response I got was we will get back to you when they finish researching the problem. Too bad that was over a week ago. :(

Default Attachment Problem

I've purchased eOffice, but when I save an attachment to eOffice it's nowhere stored. Do I actually have to obtain a eFile-wireless storage license to be able to have the attachments transfered?

Can someone tell me what to do?

I'm in Belgium so none of the providers that are already set-up in eOffice work for me.

Thanks

Yes, in order to edit attachments you need to have Wireless Dopcument Hosting subscription. New version of eOffice can save attachments by e-mail. Also, you can enter custom WAP parameters if you can get them from your carrier.

Hi Sergeyd,

Thanks for the info, but there's something that's bugging me. Even if I just want to open the attachments I have to have the wireless document hosting? If so, what's the use of having eOffice? I can't send an attachment or receice without the wireless document hosting?

Without eOffice I could save an attachment directly to my BB and open it, now I can't?

The new version you're refering to, wich version is this?
Also, is it possible to buy an upgrade from basic to standard?

If I'm missing something please let me know.

Thanks

Standard Blackberry attachment viewing does not really deliver the attachment to the device - only a condensed part used in viewing. eOffice on the other hand delivers document for editing and requires a converter on the server. Hence you do need subscription to this conversion, which is part of our document hosting.

You can upgrade to Standard - contact our support at [email address], provide your order number and they will help you out.
