Default something like palm desktop for the blackberry?

Please Login to Remove!

i'm considering FINALLY ditching palm desktop and my palm for a blackberry (or something that i can get on verizon) but can't find a program that integrates the calendar and tasks the way palm desktop does - something that has become critical to how i manage my life and my family.

i need a program that...
  • will sync with a blackberry (or something that i can get on verizon)
  • that i can use on my mobile device AND on the desktop - i sync multiple times a day on two different macs.
  • has a desktop display that allows me to see a weekly view of the calendar (with meetings, etc) and the tasks listed for each day visible BELOW the calendar - in the column for that day. (screenshot attached)

and while i'm not going to rule it out from the start, i'm not particularly comfortable with the online applications that save your data on an external server...who knows who's looking at that info.

Any suggestions?

I too was a long-time Palm user. Outlook takes a little bit of getting used to. The BB wil only synchronize with Outlook (all PIM data was saved) but you can use any one of several programs that will 'read' Outlook data that has been synchronized with your BB.

Some examples for Windows are Agendus, Time & Chaos, and several others that 'read' MS Outlook data and give you what you need.

thank you. agendus actually looks pretty interesting...but it doesn't seem to have a desktop companion app for the mac - just the pc. are you aware of any similar programs that have a desktop companion app for the mac?
