Default Drive Safe.ly - Any way to control it?

Please Login to Remove!

I just want to know if I am missing something.

Drive Safe.ly is very cool. However, it seems like it can only be ON or OFF. It doesn't matter if my phone is on silent, vibrate, etc... it just reads the messages out loud. Is that just how it operates?

In my ideal world, it would wait for me to click on the phone or press a side button before it read the message.

Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (Breaking Ball)

The whole point of the app is that you never have to touch the device, or even look at it.

It's meant to be used while driving.

I emailed the DriveSafe.ly support people to have them send me the install files (.cod, .alx, etc). They sent me something, but it was missing some files so I wrote back to them. If someone has them before I can get it from support, awesome. Please post. If I hear back from support before then, I'll let you guys know.

I've done that, but I am planning on deploying the app to our sales team from our BES, so I'd need the files to create a software configuration to be pushed out.

I got some more files from their support people, but it's still not working, so I will be seeing if I can get the newer files to work with the older ones I received. Needless to say, I'm not thrilled with their support team so far... Will keep you posted.

is the only difference between pro and free the amount of word it will say. I have free and can not get it to come thru my bluetooh head set. Is this a feature of pro. Also it says for the life of the phone. I am on my fourth storm in 6 months. If I have to get a nother storm does that mean I have to purchase again. Or if I have to wipe and restore do I have to purschase again. I am hesitant to purchase with such an unstable phone. Sorry for all the questions.

There are other differences besides that, like the type of voice you can use for example. With that said, I have had nothing but trouble with this app since I tried to test it out. I finally got the app to push out to my Berry via our BES, but the stupid program won't do anything after that. It may be the OS version or it may be something else. They say it supports the 9630 but...

Anyway, Hgaara, if you'd like the files in a .zip format, I'm uploading it here.
