Default app to view unknown numbers

Please Login to Remove!

I live in EU, I have a BB Bold and when someone is calling me from the USA it shows as "Unknown Number" it is really annoying and i would really like to know who is calling me.

My carrier over here is saying that everything should be ok. And i also know that the guys calling from the USA dont have blocked numbers, coz when they call people in the USA it is showing who is calling.

Do you know how i can resolve this?

thank you
Thank you,

Wirelessly posted

There is no such thing as an app to view uknown numbers.

CID/ANI information (the caller's number basically) is either submitted or not. If not, there's nothing you can do from your end. Another common scenario is CID info being submitted correctly during call setup but some exchange/relay/termination hub/aggregation point/linecard/little green elf in the middle doesn't carry the info over.

Quite common in sat and/or voip calls or calls assisted by operator. Nothing you can do in any case.
