Default SSH Client for BB v5.0

Please Login to Remove!

I was wondering if there is a working SSH client for BlackBerries running v5 software. I tried MidpSSH, but the only downloads are for v3.x and 4.x. I installed the 4.x on my 9700, and it installs OK, but when I attempt to connect, I see an error:

Writer: Critical Tunnel Failure.

I tried loading the OTA and when that didn't work, I tried loading the ALX and COD file using BB DM using the OS 4 files from v1.7.3. Still get the same error.

Is there a working SSH client for OS 5?

Tunnel failure could mean that you need to specify your APN Settings.

Go to Options > Advanced > TCPIP and add your APN settings there.

Look at Carrier APN Settings - ModMyi - Wiki or APN Settings for iPhone 3Gx|xThe iPhone User Guide for APN settings related to your Carrier (Digicel)

Another SSH Client that you can use is Padersync available at PaderSync Home but it costs 29.99$ i recall it used to be free but have a look.

Cheers

Thanks much, funaki. That was the issue. The phone still had the default settings for AT&T in it. Once I found the APN settings for Digicel Aruba and keyed them into the phone, that solved everything.
