Default problem installing 3rd party software in att unlocked phone

Please Login to Remove!

I bought an ATT unlocked phone over the internet. But I can not use the blackberry appworld to install any software, including the Blackberry messenger, because it shows me a message that says that I can not install any 3rd party software and I should contact the IT support bla bla bla. How can I get rid of this message and be able to use desktop manager or blackberry appworld. Or is there any other way to install such free applications??

Welcome to the forums.

What OS is on the device?

If it isn't 4.5, then upgrade. Once it's upgraded, follow these steps
