I have a 7250 and using IM+ just destroys my battery life. Is anyone else having the same problem...and have you found a way to remedy it? Server polling rate is 5 mins.

I don't use IM+ (VeriChat instead) but I have found that the biggest battery saver is staying off of the buddy list screen. With Verichat, the BB only updates the list when you are viewing the list. I don't know if IM+ works the same way, but it's worth a shot.

Heboil: In IM+ there's nothing that may destroy the battery's life, however you can try to disable vibra notification, LED and sound.

Heboil I don't have that problem at all.... but then again, I don't have my vibration on..
