Arrow Auto Wifi?? Blackberry 8120

Hi, is there a program or can some make a program that controls the wifi on blackberry phones? Because i'm on campus and my network goes out a lot on campus here and school and I always have my wifi on just so the phone can connect through UMA. But, it has an impact on my battery life. Is there a program that can automatically turn on the blackberry's wifi once it detects that the regular network has gone out and turns the wifi completely off once the phone reestablishes the regular network signal once again. Because having it on in the background all the time runs the battery down much. Thanks!!

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

I would imagine that running that app would run it down even more. Why don't you just switch off the mobile network. Then you won't have an issue
