I am unable to get BBSAK (BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife) 1.7 (or any earlier version) to connect to my 8900. I know this isn't a BBSAK support forum, but I've been unable to register at the actual support forum. Not only that, I think the problem may be some setting on the BB, rather than a problem with BBSAK itself. I say this because not only can I not get BBSAK to connect on my Windows 7(64) machine, I also can't get it to connect on my XP machine at work. I've googled and tried various things that I've seen suggested (e.g., click "run as administrator"; turn off User Account Control; click "kill processes" multiple times; unplug and plug BB while BBSAK is running). BBDM 5 works fine; mass storage works fine. Clearly, the computer "sees" the BB, but BBSAK doesn't. The net.framework verification tool verified that net.framework is installed. So...I'm out of ideas. BBSAK looks like a useful tool, but I'm unable to use it. If anyone knows any magic I should try, I'd be grateful.
