Default Magmic Games and NO Volume

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
I downloaded Proteus the Space game from Magmic. It works fine on my 8700c except I have zero volume! How can I get volume working for this?

BlackBerry games generally don't have sound. The current crop of BlackBerries are capable only of emitting beeps within programs, which are more irritating than useful for game play.

Actually the game MeteorCrusher has lots of sounds and a musical intro too. Sounds great on an 8700. http://www.plazmic.com

That's good to know. I guess we should make a distinction between the usual java-based BlackBerry games that don't tend to support sound, and games created with the Plasmic SDK that may support sound on certain models of BlackBerries, such as the 8700.

MeteorCrusher and CirclePopper on polyphonic devices (7100 and 8700) sound great.
If you get to the end of MC on an 8700, you get to see a cool 'Save the Galaxy' sequence animation, created in SVG, complete with very cool sounds.
