hey hey hey,
...frequent user of the forums...first of all, love the place
...but my problem is with BBWeather...but not really...more like where BBWeather gets it's data from-weather.com...
....so obviously you have to put in a location ID..that's not rocket science...so I followed the thread that points you to the link that can tell you the ID of whatever location you want....the place I typed in,of course, didn't come up,so I typed in some nearby places-some came up,but mostly were too close to Toronto to give me accurate enough conditions to do me really any good(I'm in a snow belt region, north of the city

)...so OK,no biggie.....so I go to the The Weather Network.com and type in the place-and yes it comes up....so I look at the URL and get the ID#-CAXX****....so I plop it into BBWeather...it retrieves the info and boom....the wrong place....I thought it was my stupidity, and checked the # again and it was fine-on my end and on the URL.....I even looked up the town it gave me to see if that URL would give me my location!!!!...no go.....
it was even wrong, giving me somewhere else!!!!!!
...so in a nutshell,I guess something is mixed up with Canadian ID's and weather.com....kinda sucks....I just uninstalled it...not a big deal...it
is free

...I'll just use Environment Canada's radar thing....but if anyone reading this thread knows someone, who knows someone, who knows someone, that could correct the issue, they would probably want to know this
...cool little app,though...peace.
