Bugme....... well what can i say, this certainly HAS bugged-me. i could think of a lot worse terms to describe the after sales support i have received from Electonic Pocket - but i will be sensible and leave you to guess what i am thinking!
Let me start from the beginning.
Late last year i purchased the app "Bugme" from Electronic Pocket for my Bold 9000 (via the app world). Early this year my handset crashed (infinite white screen looop) and therefore required to be formatted - this meant i lost all my installed applications.
One of the most frequently used applications i had installed was Bugme - so once my Bold was repaired, i went about searching for this app.
Having searched everywhere, i could no longer find the TRIAL version of BUGME to install, which would then allow me to enter my CODE, to then activate the FULL VERSION. All i could find is the link to download the FULL version.
I therefore contacted Electronic Pocket.
After numerous emails, a women called Pippa got in touch, with the following information:
"The link for the free version is here: http://bugme.net/blackberry/"
My response was the following:
Via this link, your website states the following:
"Take a free "3 Note" trial with BlackBerry App World, or visit bugme.net with your BlackBerry web browser. Or be bold, buy BugMe! now and get going straight away"
When i VIEW Bugme via the App World, it DOES NOT give me the option to download a FREE TRIAL.
Ive also visited 'mobihand' - this too does NOT allow me to download."
After a number of emails i received another RESPONSE 3 WEEKS LATERS!
Guess what? You guessed it the email stated the following:
"The link for the TRIAL version is here: http://bugme.net/blackberry/"
Im soooo annoyed!!!
The point of this entire thread is BEWARE of ANY PRODUCTS you buy from ELECTRONIC POCKET.
