Default blackberry twitter app - how to clear notification home screen?

Please Login to Remove!

ever since installing blackberry's twitter app on my bold, there is this "1t" notification on my device's home screen. does anyone know how to clear it? I have set the twitter app not to auto refresh, not to notify on new tweets, not to incl tweets in emails, and I've rebooted & pulled the battery multiple times. thanks a lot.

Open the Twitter app and you likely have a welcome message from the Twitter app...I think it's under the Direct Messages.

Wirelessly posted

That's it. Took me a little while to figure it out myself.

I'm trying to stop the notifications for new tweets and no luck. When I try to save it says "name cannot be empty" Any ideas?
