Default Transferring Files (Ringtones) to my 7100T

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all. I have a BlackBerry 7100T and Im able to put ringtones on it by accessing the ringtone sites via my phones WAP. However, that is a pain in the neck, and when im in my office, I don't have a cell signal.

Im used to having a Motorola i90c, i95cl phone in which I could transfer my files right from my pc to my phone. Same for my motorola v300.

Is there a way I can transfer my ringtones from my PC to my blackberry via the USB cable??? Anybody know of any software to do this?

Short answer: No
Long answer: You are doing it the only way possible, by downloading them from a web site. At this time, there is no way to upload them via the USB connection.

Thanks. Do you know the correct ringtone format our phones take. I know they are polyphonic, but I tried an MMF ringtone, that didn't work. Any idea? Or do you know any sites that have ringtones. Right now I use http://www.polyphonicringtonez.com/wap

Most midi files will work, I get most of mine from www.musicrobot.com. If they are too long or you want to take out the intros, check into a program called Anvil Studio (I think you can find it on cnet), it's a free midi editing program. A little tricky to use at first, but it gets the job done.
