Interesting! Just got a nudge from somebody to take a look at this video about this new real time texting done on a split screen for BB users. It's new. Has anybody else heard of this elsewhere? It looks new. There is a vid demo of this software called "Ubivia." And what's really interesting is that it was developed by a deaf run company, too. They're asking for beta testers on their website. Does anyone know how recent this is? Looks pretty darned recent to me. Thotz anyone?

looks like a recent post. It also looks very interesting. something very good in a situation where you need to shut off any sound.

It is interesting. I looked around some more. I do think they have something there with the real time texting thing done simultaneously. I don't think there are any other texting software out there that does this with the split screen and without the need to hit the send button to respond each time like you do with IMs. An advantage here over the current IMs. Signing up I'm game. Curious to see this in action. Anybody else take a look at this Ubivia software??

Yes, the deaf community is pretty tight knit and words do get around rather quickly. A few of my deaf friends are a bit of a BB nutz and gave me a holler about this "ubivia" thing. So, I posted it here to see what other people say. That's all.
