Default EasyDialer problem with OS 6.0 devices

Please Login to Remove!

EasyDialer is the best calling card utility application. It saves calling card on your BlackBerry, then allow you to make calls via calling card, without changing your dial habit.

It support dial-through, call back, prefix call. It allows you to place a call using calling card in many ways: voice-dial, speed-dial, or clicking SEND key in address book, email, calendar, browser, or in any 3rd-party applications.

It also supports conference call, help you to dial the access code whatever it is static or for one-time usage only.

EasyDialer support recently got a lot of reports of error net.rim.device.api.system.ControlledAccessExceptio n on devices with OS 6.0.

Please follow below steps to fix:

OS 6.0 devices:
- Go to Options, Device, Application Management.
- Highlight EasyDialer
- click menu key, select "Edit permissions"
- Allow All, and Save

OS 5.0 and older devices:
- Go to BlackBerry Options
- Go to Applications(It may be in Advanced Options)
- Locate EasyDialer, select menu "Edit Permissions"
- Change all permissions to allowed and save.

If your blackberry belongs to a blackberry enterprise server(BES), the BES may set a control policy which prevents from permission change. In this case please contact your BES administrator.
