Default Pocketday question....newbie - 01-23-2006, 01:45 AM

Can everyone that has this tell me if it is worth it to buy it? Also, has anybody had any major problems with it? I have the trial one right now.

Default Definitely worth it - 01-23-2006, 05:08 AM

This is by far the best software on my BlackBerry. The creator is often on these forums offering support and responds to emails quickly. He has added tons of new features in V3.5 from Version 2 and still no charge for the upgrade, can't say that for most software apps. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

Yes, definately worth it and no problems. I've been using it since it was first released and I'm very happy with it. Also, take a look at google local and berry411.

It's the only BB application that I still use everyday actively. BBLight is always on but runs in the background.

whatever bugs you might find are very quickly fixed by the maker and service and support are top notch.

If you like your unread emails/missed call list/calendar appointments/tasks/weather/stocks/search all in one place... then you'll love this app and you won't regret buying it.

First, you should do a search of 'PocketDay' and see for yourself the number of threads related to this product. It's amazing the amount of volume this application has generated on BlackBerryForums.com since I got my 7250 in February of 2005.

I have said this before, it is by far the most used application on my BB. It has become an integral tool in managing the BB OS that I'm not sure how I would function without it. CrossRiverSystems has always provided outstanding customer service and continues to successfully build and improve its software offerings. I would recommend this software to anyone without hesitation. Granted, there are few who have had some issues with PocketDay (as with any third-party software application) but I have found those instances to be few and far between.

Now you can call me STORMin' Norman, except my name isn't Norman.

I downloaded and trialed it for a while, but I didn't see where it really did anything for me I already didn't have or need. I liked the weather, but I have BBWeather for free. It does organize everything in one place, but for my usage, I am fine with the standard apps. So I removed it and currently only have google local, bbweather, yak-on as 3rd party apps. 2 of those are free and yak-on was a 1 time $20 fee.

I would download and use the free trail and then see whether it is worth it to keep it and pay for it.

I agree with you, I also tried the trial and it is nice but to me not worth the expenditure when I can use bbtoday and or bb weather to do the same job. Things with BBs are expensive enough already and I figured as long as I can get by with free stuff I do and save the expenditures for something that I really need desperately and cannot do for free.
