Default Problems with Pocketday on 8700c - 01-27-2006, 08:35 AM

(I also posted this in the pocketday support forum on their site - got no response)

Hi,
I downloaded the latest trial for pocketday for my blackberry 8700c (cingular).
I cannot remove the application - when I go to settings->options->Advanced->applications, all apps show up except for pocketday. I even tried desktop manager - pocketday does not show up.

I also rebooted my phone.

How do I remove it ????

thx
arjun

Go to www.crossriversystems.com they have terrific tech support via email (support@crossriversystems.com); their forums don't seem to get the same attention. Also, I remember seeing a thread or two about this on this forum so do a search.

My suggestion is to try Options|Advanced Options|Applications press trackwheel and scroll to modules and delete any pocketday modules. I need to scroll to the bottom of the list and delete anything that starts with "pd".

Thanks Michael - I will try their email as well. As I described above, I tried all the below - no pd related modules show up. Did a search before I posted too - the previous threads there suggest a reboot - did not work for me.

arjun,

Michaels suggestions are correct. Once in the Applications screen from the menu select Modules. you should see everything there. There are cases where the BB doesn't seem to register an installed app.

Thanks Michael and Mark - I missed that last part about 'modules' - I was only looking at the application screen. It is removed now.
