Default Ramble tone volume - 01-30-2006, 09:27 AM

Does anyone else have a problem with the tones for Ramble not being loud enough? I am constantly missing messages due to that. I go to change the volume, and it will not go above 80. I also see no way to change to a louder tone.

Having said that, I would like to sincerely thank SRA for keeping Ramble free. Other than the sound, I love it, and it works perfect for me.

I noticed that when I go in and change the tone volume from 80 to 100, it does not stay as the new default volume even though you save. I have a hard time hearing anyways (which is not good at age 25) so I just put it all on vibrate and keep it in the holster. Seems to work for me. Im not too picky with IM so this program is sweet.

Ok, just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.

My problem is I don't feel vibrates that easily, and much prefer tones. I have it set to do both tone and vibrate, so hopefully I'll miss less messages.

For me the tone doesn't even work at all.

Thats no good. It is really faint, but if I listen close to mine I can hear it. IT has its bugs but its a good program I think. I look at it this way...I could not have designed this, so my hats off to those who do take the time to do so.

Mine is real faint and sounds like a messed up ringtone lol but the software itself is very reliable. Verichat and my Yahoo are always going in and out but Ramble keeps on putting along.

I'd be more than happy to donate. I absolutely love the program, as it's much much better than the other ones. I would absolutely be in heaven if the sound problem got fixed, and it didn't get super slow after long convos.
