I have searched but havent found anything, at least with my poor searching skills

What I am looking for is the equivelent of the unix ps and kill commands for the blackberry or an app similiar to the Windows Task Manager that lists running processes with the ability to kill or end processes

Any search for Task Manager, just shows lists of daily planner type apps

i know alt-esc shows open apps, but if there is already a way, whats the key sequence to end a running process

There is no "End Task" command on a BlackBerry that I am aware of. You can always pull the battery for 10 second to hard reset the BlackBerry.

There's no end now like Windows but sometimes a soft reset will do it and if not you'll have to do a hard reset.
