Seems cool. I grabbed a free copy of Milton's Paradise Lost, you know, for some light reading next time I'm on a plane or something......

Ok, I've downloaded it and installed it. When I click on Install new device -> Blackberry, it seems to detect my 8700R then gives the message: Blackberry Install Reminder says Do not forget to select Mobi Reader Lite in the list of applications to install.

Where the files to install onto the Blackberry? I've looked in the directories and it certainly doesn't put anything into the Application Loader.

What am I missing?

Alright, I've shutdown both the BB Desktop and Mobipocket. Started Mobipocket, it detected the BB and asked to install but didn't do anything afterwards. It didn't launch anything afterwards. I tried to Install new Device -> Blackberry Device as well with the same results.

I've even uninstalled and reinstalled this program without any success...

Gave that a shot too, which would make sense if it worked, but it didn't... this application clearly doesn't like me... or rather my BB doesn't like it! :P

Going to try the files that MrKyoo found next...

I don't know if the program has worked for you previously but according to their supported devices list, (Firmware 3.7 or higher.
Handhelds 5800, 6500, 6700, 6200, 7100, 7200, 7500 series can be upgraded to firmware 3.7 if needed except 5810/5820, 6750, and 6710 (with only 8MB of flash) devices.), I don't see 870x on there. Maybe they just haven't updated that list yet. Good luck.

Update:

It was a firewall issue. First make sure you allow the "reader.exe" to access the Internet in your firewall. After doing so, Mobipocket Reader downloaded the Mobi Reader Lite into the BB.
