Does anyone know how to configure this?

I just get a message (after a long wireless transfer) that says "No matching record found in Address book!"

There is no way to set a number it in the Contact Properties

Any ideas?

I have a question that hasn't been asked yet. I haven't installed this on my 8700 yet but am wondering one thing.
I am assuming that if you install this that you can put your status as offline. If you do this or you "sign out" does that mean that data transmission will end? I am a Rogers client and that 25mb cap is always in the back of my mind. Also I don't want to be signed in all the time anyway.
Is this possible?

Similar topic. Regarding Blackberry Messenger. I am under the impression that this is a always on messenger. If I am correct in assuming this how much data is is gulping up? I like having the option of being signed in/out to messaging clients.

Thanks
Joel

Ok i installed it and deleted all the advertising contacts. Looks like a good program. And yes nice to know that i can log off and shut the program if i don't want to use it. I was asking before because it sounded like you was always running just like Blackberry messenger. Thanks

i'm running verichat 2.68b on my BB 8700g. I use to have verichat on my treo 650 which and i must admit was way better.

the most annoying thing with 2.68b is that when i am typing a SMS message and someone messages me via verichat, it completely over-rides the SMS app and whatever i was typing in the SMS message, I am all of a sudden typing that to the verichat sender.

i let pdaapps know about this and think others should do the same in order to encourage a speedy update fix.

All I can say is WOW for Verichat, I bought Yak-On and it does not hold a candle to this program!

Nice large fonts and Icons I can tell if I am on or not! Very nice and smooth interface. Going to keep testing for a few but will probably buy this one!
Click menu is awesome and tells you which service you are logged on and you can get your status.

It is a little slow, seems to lag from time to time

One annoying thing is with Google talk, it loads all you contacts from gmail and even if you delete them it re-adds them next time you log on!!

im using a 7100r, and will be travelling overseas for a month+, so I was wondering if using this will result in huge roaming fees?

i dont get exactly how this works, or how I will be billed (Aside from the annual fee)

Thanks!

Their website says it is no longer being sold. but it appears it will still let you download directly or OTA. Won't matter though, when/if they turn off the servers.

I've switched to WebMessenger.

Just for grins, I tried the downloads. OTA gave me ACCESS DENIED. Direct download worked. Oh. well, soon won't matter I guess.
