Default VPN client.

Is there any particular reason why there hasn't been a VPN client developed for the BlackBerry? Particularly, one that would use IPSec, PPTP, and L2TP?

It seems like it would be a fairly popular application so there must be something I'm missing. I've gone over some of the J2ME documentation and it looks like the possibility exists for this type of client software.

So yeah, I must be missing something.

Maybe I am missing something. Why do you need a VPN software for the Blackberry?

It would be handy for those of us who's BB's are not on BES's but we would still like to get inside our corporate firewall. It would allow me to manage our unix clients and check my e-mail anywhere I was. That would be great, but I'm not hosed without it either.

Exactly what PingGuy said. For software like this it would be beneficial to have a VPN client for the BB if you're not blessed with having a BES server.
