No, I have had mine for the past 6 months and no additional charges have been incurred. BTW it is well worth the $29.99, go for it.

The RDM service is an add-on to Remote Desktop. It a way to access your PC from another PC similar to I'm In Touch, or Go To My PC. This add-on was released with the V2 software. I believe the annual fee, if you want this functionality is ~$100.

The best part of V2 is that if you've used a remote PC to VPN into your main PC, Remote Desktop can still connect, even though the main PC is "locked". In V1.5, you couldn't connect to your main PC if it was "locked" from a VPN (remote desktop) session.

It's a great app. Well worth the $30.

I use it to administer 8 servers in the company. Pretty useful if you want to do some simple task.

Response time is good enough for me. Using a 7100v on a BES/MDS.
