Default Google Maps Local problem

Please Login to Remove!

I can't get this to work. It downloaded and installed just fine. I click the app, it appears to be loading, but just sits at a blank screen with "loading..." in the upper right-hand corner forever. Then finally after what seems forever, it comes back with a Network Unavailable message or something, and says something about making sure I have good reception.

Any clues to fixing this??

Thanks in advance.

The Official Version! Yes, it now works for BlackBerry. Draggable, scrollable Google Maps on your BlackBerry. Best thing short of actually having GPS. Enough said. If you have problems, alternative unofficial Google Maps viewers can be found at www.freek.ca and www.bblocal.com.

Samething here, I use 7520 (BES). I tried installing and uninstalling over dozens of times while it worked ONLY once -- alwalys gave that error message concerning the network or whatever data service ...

I actually reloaded the Helloworld tool -- which has everything you need at no cost though a bit slow at start-up. But the GPS function is really real-time and prompt

Google needs to give us a way to set how the program reaches out to the internet. They have it locked to one method. WHERE ARE THE SETTINGS GOOGLE?

If you aren't on BES, you need to adjust your APN settings so you have internet access. See my tips doc for some of the carriers.
