Default Pocket Express Issue

Please Login to Remove!

I was recently told by Handmark to update my version of Pocket Express by downloading a new version. I did so and since then I cannot access any part of the program. When ever I try and update any one of the channels, I get an error message which says:

HTTP response code 302

I have sent five or six emails to their customer assistance, was told to delete and redownload the program, which I did, and which did not help. Other than that, I keep getting a bunch of irrelvent questions.

My BB works fine other than this, and I am about ready to dump this program.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Edmond

Default Handmark Responds

After numerous attempts, I finally got Handmark to respond.

They now say that since my BB 7250 is an "older" model, Pocket Express no longer works with it!

I'm done with them.

Default pocket express issue

First response ever to a forum anytime anywhere, but i had to...Pocket Express is a disaster...as the other poster said, I couldn't get it to work on my 8700..eior ther pocket express worked partly or zagat worked partly...neither worked at the same time....Handango and I repeatedly tried to get a response from Handmark...the 8700 is one of the newer devices so this "old device" thing is nonsense...No response and neither program works and NO HELP FROM HANDMARK...Never again with Handmark...

I actually have gotten great support from Handmark. I ran into issues with my 7100t and needed to upgrade to version 2.0. Handmark helped me through the issues. I recently loaded Pocket Express to my 8700c and it works flawlessly. Current version is 2.0.1.13. I also downloaded the Zagat to go app (trial version) and it works as well.

EdmondT / nyacorn - - have you tried to uninstall the app, re-boot, then re-install the latest version? What network are you on?

I have been using Pocket Express for six months, and I love it. So far, I have not experienced those problems.

PLease let me know if any of you have the paid version of Handmark Express, AND a paid version of Zagat on your BB at the same time. I cannot get it to do it. I had to cancell Express, as Zagat is more important for me.

Had this problem several months ago (check prior thread(s) on this site).

Cause - Handmark's system apparently only will recognize one device id per account, but Handmark issues different types of device ids for Pocket Express subscriptions and Zagat subscriptions.

Fix - I had Handmark set up my Pocket Express and Zagat subscriptions on separate accounts, so they could issue me proper ids for each app. Contact customer support and ask them to do this for you. Both apps work fine on my Cinugular 7100g now.
