Someone please help me. I just started my Nextel service yesterday with 7100i I really like it but I can't seem to connect to any 3rd party im client. The yahoo messenger from the nextel site works fine. I've tried ramble im, webmessenger etc..Ramble say invalid connection string, webmessenger says unable to connect. Is it because this is new service. Please give me some help on what to do. Just to mention, I can connect to the internet without a problem.

Thanks for the reply. I saw that post. According to that I should not have to do anything to hey it to work. It did say I ma have to wait 2 business days. I will try that and are what happens.

I'm having the same problem with my 7520 that I have had for almost a year now. Verichat, BBWeather... do not work, but the Yahoo IM Client from RIM works fine.

Service seemed to stop Sunday this past weekend.

Rumor has it that the problem is no nextel's side of things. Hopefully they get it fixed soon cause AIM keeps me from going crazy at work.

Now ain't this a kick... I'm having the same problem but... Verichat & BBWeather works and the standalone IM clients don't?!?!
