Default Location (GPS) Based Tool -- new one! Free and cool thing...

Please Login to Remove!

Check out this one. http://www.naggie.com/
A software that would allow you to remind events based on the location: ideally, when you get to school at 2pm, your Naggie will remind you a class that you will have at 2pm, something like that... enjoy

Down side, though, is that the led light is always on for some reason

HIH: You might want to reinstall. My light LED does not stay on. Very cool app tho. Very accurate. Very battery intensive. Stay plugged in. I have a news reader with the Blackberry Cool feed. That's where I see a lot of that stuff. i did not realize Naggie had been around since October! Wow. Joe

I’m testing it now that I found the correct link to Naggie.

It seems to work on a 7100i even though Naggie’s site states

i tried it with my 7100i, it kept getting errors and turning off. it did find my location with the gps...jus tcame up with errors and had to uninstall it. for a version 1 it looks like it has a lot of potential. probably uses a lot of battery power.

When I try with my 7100i it appears to start the download and then it says invalid COD.

Folks, to be honest, I don't see a value of using it on any non-GPS phones since it uses GPS to locate your phone.

BTW, not sure if it's really a good idea to give away your location through 3rd party's software -- big brother can watch you and so can everyone else.

Seems like Naggie is out of order. I'm using a 7520 and when I tried to install it says "invalid jar". I tried to email them @ Naggie but the email failed. Sounds pretty cool tho. Really wanted to try it out. Hopefully they get it running. Anyone else have any problems?

It worked fine on my 7520 a few days ago, but as it has been stated earlier, it is a battery HOG. Fully charged only lasted about 3 hours with Naggie running. Neat app, but not worth a dead battery constantly.

I've done a lot of research over the past hour and have come to the conclusion that the link I have is correct. Rather, my BB is missing some files that cause the 907 invalid jar error. I can't find anywhere on these forums (or on google) what I need to do to fix this problem. Can any one in here enlighten me?

I checked out their site, and they are apparently only compatible with 7520, unfortunately! Anyone know any other cool GPS apps for 8700?

with 7250, 7520, or 7100i, Try Helloworld: http://www.freek.ca/

I have beening using the GPS on my Acura for 4 years, but one day, I was unable to locate my friend's new house with it (outdated); however, with Helloworld, I got there -- of course, I use 7520.

8700, you can try Googlelocal: http://www.google.com/glm/
